Our Pastors

OUR PASTORS

  • Marty and Marcia Giese  Pastor Martin (Marty) Giese grew up on a grain farm in Western Minnesota. During his years as a student at Oak Hills Bible College in Bemidji, Minnesota, Marty sensed the call of God to pastoral ministry. In 1977 he accepted a pastoral internship at First Baptist Church of Parkers Prairie, Minnesota and following the internship remained as pastor there for 17 years. He received his M.A. in Ministry from Moody Graduate School in 1993. In 1994 he accepted the invitation to join the pastoral staff at Faith Baptist Church of Park Rapids. His family includes his wife, Marcia, and their children; Anna, (Shane), Sarah (Jeff), Rachel, and David.     Marty Giese
  • Mark and Beth Waller Pastor Mark Waller grew up in Stillwater, Minnesota. He graduated from Bethel College in St. Paul, Minnesota and graduated from Bethel Seminary in 1982. He served as Assistant pastor at Robbinsdale Baptist Church for eight years. In 1990 he and his family went to Uganda for a year under the MAC short term missionary program. He came to Park Rapids in February, 1992 and serves as Associate Pastor Discipleship Ministries. He and his wife, Beth, have three children; Erica, Ben, and Andrew.   Mark Waller
  • Phil and Anna Campbell Pastor Phil Campbell was asked to serve as our Youth Pastor in August of 2004. He graduated from Liberty University in Virginia. He and his wife, Anna, served as youth leaders in Rock Solid for several years prior to coming on staff. He and Anna have three children, Victoria, Anika, and Trey.         Phil Campbell
  • Ken and Lorelei Polley Pastor Ken Polley came on FBC staff as Administrative Interim Pastor in January, 2010.  He is a FBC supported missionary for Emmanuel Ministries International where he serves as Executive Director for Church Renewal and Development.  He mentors pastors; assists in church intervention with conflicts and difficult situations; creates ministry tools; and oversees and develops ministry staff for EMI.  He has been in a pastoral role for seventeen years and has served at Oak Hills Christian College as Adjunct Faculty.  He and His wife, Lorelei, have three children, Seth, Sean and Jenna.     Ken Polley
  • Cripe 8524Pastor David Cripe joined the staff as Senior's Visitation Pastor in 2011.  He grew up in Indiana and graduated from Western Bible College in 1971.  They retired from a sister church in  Breckenridge, MN where they had pastored for several years.  He and his wife Verna have two grown children and the highlight of their lives is having their son and daughter and their granchildren come to visit.
